The technical sales engineer is the customer facing representative and internal coordinator of this organization. The duties involve various internal and external activities, pertinent to the further development of QTB’s products and growth. This job is based in QTB’s main office located in Milpitas, CA. The role requires considerable involvement in the office and, when required, on the road, domestically and internationally.
Summary of Duties:

Sell products to customers, current and potential.

Engage with staff members to become familiar with product offerings.

Collaborate with staff members to improve internal processes and thereby services.

Create and present product training material – product info and application notes.

Follow up with customers for repeated business.

Pursue new clientele via. direct channels, distribution, and sales representatives.

Gather and translate inquiries from the field.

Coordinate with team members to complete projects and sales.

Track status of various projects status reports for kick-off, follow-up, and closing.

Assist RFQ’s and cost structures during the quoting process.

Provide feedback to engineering and sales, for betterment of products and services.

Perform other related duties when assigned.
Qualification and Skills:

One to two years’ experience of customer-facing role required.

Candidate must be a good listener and be able to well-express oneself.

Candidate is to show good organizational skills and judgement of priority.

Candidate must show proficiency in MS Office apps (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Basic graphic design skills are desired for marketing material.
